What to Wear for Outdoor Hikes (While Still Being Stylish) Part 1

Outfit Details: Adidas Track Jacket, Adidas Jogger Pants, Seamless Bralette Crop Top, Adidas QT Racer shoes, Louis Vuitton Montsouris MM backpack

Our latest trip was to Yosemite a couple weeks ago, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect, the scenery was perfect, and you know me – my outfit was too. As I’ve previously mentioned, I’ve never been an extremely outdoorsy person until lately, and I’ve been loving it! My only question every single time is: What do I wear? Or should I say, What do I wear for outdoor hikes while still looking cute?

Of course my outfit doesn’t pertain to the serious hikers with all the gear and boots. This was just a fun trip to hike a little through the trails and take in all the scenery, nature, and fresh air. It’s definitely refreshing to get out and enjoy nature and relieve any stress you may have as well!

Although we weren’t doing any major hiking, being prepared out on the trails is still necessary! Comfortable shoes, a backpack, water, and a jacket are all basic necessities needed.

I’ve noticed my recent setups have worked best for me, especially due to the comfort and how my feet don’t hurt by the end of the day! My Adidas QT Racer shoes work perfect for comfort – I can be on them all day with no type of pain! Of course they don’t compare to hiking boots, but if you’re just walking through the trails they are perfection. I did climb some rocks in them several times and they worked, but I wouldn’t recommend it for long term since you definitely need boots and soles with grip for activities like that.

I’ve always loved tracksuits – they are cute and still stylish while being outdoors hiking or in nature. The polyester material of the jacket and pants is perfect in case of water, dirt, and sweat. Easily wipeable and breathable, I wasn’t dirty and didn’t feel gross by the end of the day either. I wore a seamless bralette crop top that had a basically non existent feeling, so I was extremely comfortable throughout the day in that as well.

A backpack is obviously the easiest type of bag to carry on occasions like this, and of course I had to use my LV Montsouris backpack. I don’t baby this bag and it will still hold up and be relevant for years to come even doing so, since it’s already 19 years old. It’s the perfect size to hold water bottles and all my necessities I need throughout the day.

On this trip I had very light makeup on as well! No false lashes and no eyeshadow. Not only because it was a full on outdoor trip, but also because we headed out to Yosemite at 4am. We tried to make it there by sunrise but unfortunately didn’t make it in time. On a positive note, we did have the entire day to be there and explore though, so it was well worth it!

We had a good time hanging out and Aaron got a lot of amazing footage and photos. Be sure to check his Instagram here to view his Yosemite video!

This was my outfit for the first half of the day, until it got hot – so I will be posting a part 2 from Yosemite next week because there are still a lot more photos to post! See you guys then! [UPDATE: Part 2 post here!]
