I recently became obsessed with the Louis Vuitton Agenda’s after seeing one in a YouTube video. I decided to get a pre-loved Louis Vuitton monogram PM agenda, or also known as the ‘pocket size’ agenda. I found one in excellent condition, which had only been used once! I’ve always loved writing and being creative, so I thought an agenda would not only help me stay organized, but give me another creative outlet. Why not just use the calendar on my phone to stay organized, you ask? Honestly, I only like using my phone for notification reminders. It doesn’t encourage me to schedule things by typing them out on my phone or having to constantly unlock my phone to view a date. Having this LV agenda makes me want to use it and stay organized. Jotting things down quickly seems more practical to me than having to take out my phone and do it. I also can use this PM Agenda as a wallet (which I’ve been doing lately)! Before I received my note paper and calendar refills in the mail, I was already using the agenda as a wallet. So to use this product with two different purposes makes it so versatile!

LV Small Functional Agenda Notes Refill

When I received my agenda, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to order any of the LV paper. I saw reviews on the 2016 LV Calendar refills, but they were very plain this year, with no color! To me it wasn’t worth the $70, so to make my new agenda have some kind of LV’ness inside, I decided to try out the Small Functional Agenda Notes Refill, which were only $25. I looked everywhere online for more info on the Notes refill to gain more information on what they looked like, what it came in, etc., but couldn’t find any information whatsoever! So I decided to just purchase it and give you guys the information I collected. That is the main reason for the post, to share the unboxing of the Note Refills with you and details on the product.

Unboxing

The LV Note refills came in a regular brown box, but when you opened the cover it contained ‘Louis Vuitton’ written inside the box, the same box they use for other SLGs. There were a couple envelopes inside containing the Return Voucher, Thank You Note, Receipt, and I even had them write me a note with ‘modelvale.com’ on it. This was the first time I’ve ever ordered anything on the LV website, so I had no idea what to expect. The Note Refills came in a gorgeous type of envelope/box thing with a leather strap around it and a gift tag. Even just these note refills came gorgeously wrapped and official; which just shows you how high end LV really is. Shipping also came pretty quickly, it shipped out on a Saturday and I received it Tuesday.

The Notes

The Note Refills came nicely hole punched and fit perfectly in the PM Agenda. It comes with a ‘Notes’ cover page followed by many dotted lined paper with ‘Louis Vuitton’ printed on the bottom. It also comes with a few blank colored pages near the end, which do not have ‘Louis Vuitton’ printed anywhere on them. It concludes with a rear cover page and says ‘Printed in France.’ It’s a pretty simple note refill, but it is great quality. When I write with a pen, it doesn’t go through the page and indent other pages. I only have a few of these note pages in my agenda at the moment, and keeping the remaining in the box for safekeeping if I need anymore. The PM Agenda has very small rings, so not much can fit inside there, especially if I’m using calendar refills as well. I love these Note refills though, and I think they’re a great alternative to having something LV in the agenda if you don’t get the actual Calendar refills.

Kate Spade 2016 Pocket Weekly & Month Calendar Refills

I’m aware that the 2016 Kate Spade Calendar refills are also unfortunately plain this year, but I honestly couldn’t find other decent ones. I didn’t want to get any of the Sanrio refills, because they were a little ‘too much’ for my new agenda. The Filofax ones were even more plain, so when I saw that they had the Kate Spade refills on sale on the website I jumped at the opportunity. They were originally $28, but on sale for $22. Signing up for the Kate Spade mailing list I got 15% off, which made it a total of $20 including tax. Free shipping is available on her website, which took about 6 days for me to receive. I couldn’t go wrong for $20, and it was a classy simply look so I decided to just purchase them (Better than $70 right?!)

Unboxing Kate Spade Refills

The Kate Spade refills came in a square box, and once opened you can see it nicely packaged in green striped tissue paper with a Kate Spade sticker holding it in place. I have also never ordered anything from Kate Spade before, so again this was also new to me. It came with a paper stock Thank You card that said ‘Imagine the Possibilites‘ which is a nice quote. Underneath that was the Calendar refills, sitting there in a plastic wrap.

Kate Spade Calendar Refills

The theme of 2016 is black and white classy polka dots. It contains monthly and weekly views, note pages, 5 double sided To Do pages, birthday pages, and address pages. It also has a view of all the months of 2016 and 2017, and a list of the holidays this year. It contains everything I basically wanted for my agenda calendar, so I’m pretty satisfied with the refills. The paper is considerably thin for agenda paper, but it will do for now. Previous years the Kate Spade refills were colorful and even came with dividers though, and this year its very simple with just paper/calendar only. I’m not sure why all these brands are going plain jane for 2016!

Overall

Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchases and I’m having a great time setting up my agenda. I’m not decorating it completely like other planners you see out there, other than a few stickers here and there. For my first LV planner I wanted it to be simple and classy, with a touch of cuteness and fun. I’ll definitely do a post all about my agenda and what I have in it, so stick around for that post coming up soon! Do any of you guys use agendas? Let me know what you have in yours! And let me know what you think about all these 2016 refills! 😀
